EVA Full-Time (Grades 6-12)

Escambia Virtual Academy FLVS-Franchise

Are you an Escambia County School District student and seeking FULL-TIME enrollment in EVA using the FLVS-Franchise Virtual Platform?

We are an Escambia County Public School Franchise of Florida Virtual School. We utilize the FLVS learning management system with teachers employed by the Escambia County School District. Our students follow the same high school diploma path as a traditional high school. The academy is a semester-based program; credit is awarded for the successful completion of a semester course prior to the semester deadline. Therefore, enrollment requires a semester-long or year-long commitment, as well as an adult who can partner with Escambia Virtual Academy teachers by serving as the learning guide for the student. Students are required to take 6 courses each semester in order to be a full-time student at EVA. Escambia Virtual Academy FLVS-Franchise has academic requirements for enrollment based upon FLVS policy. Students must have successfully completed the previous school year, display grade level proficiency in the most recent standardized test in Reading and Math, a minimum of a 2.0 GPA, and be considered at grade level. Students not meeting one of the requirements may be considered for enrollment as a Transitional Home School student.

If you are interested in becoming a full-time virtual student at Escambia Virtual Academy, please follow the registration steps below.

2026-2027 ENROLLMENT REGISTRATION STEPS

1.     Email the appropriate grade-level advisor to schedule a registration meeting. Please see the table below for grade-level advisor assignments. In your email, please include the student's name and student number. Your student is not registered until the student and a legal guardian of the student meets with an Academic Advisor.

2.     Complete the Registration Forms, print and bring them to your scheduled meeting.  Registration forms are linked in the forms section of the webpage. If you are unable to print the registration forms, we have printed copies in our office.

3.     Complete the grade-appropriate Google Enrollment Form. The registration form linked at the bottom of the page provides the required handbook information for all new students. Please note that completing the Google Enrollment form does not register the student in our program.

4.     Locate an Escambia County utility bill (gas, electricity, water/sewage, sanitation) in the legal guardian's name for address verification and bring it to the registration meeting. Please note that a Cell Phone, TV/Cable, or Internet bill is not acceptable proof of residency.

5.     Locate previous school records. Students who were enrolled in an Escambia County Public School during the 24-25 school year and completed the school year are not required to provide records. Students who were previously enrolled out of county, state, private, or homeschool will need to bring a copy of their school transcripts to the registration appointment.

6.     Create an FLVS prior to the registration meeting. Follow the Instructions linked "Create a Student FLVS Account" (unless you already have one) prior to the registration meeting. During the account creation, please request your appropriate grade-level English course.

7.     Create a Focus student and parent account prior to the registration meeting. Students previously enrolled in an Escambia County public school are not required to create a new student account. Students new to the district will need to create a Focus account. Please click HERE to create an ECSD Student Account.

8.     Attend the scheduled meeting. A legal guardian and the student must be present during the registration meeting. Photo ID and a utility bill showing proof of residency in the county are required as well.
